Artwork & File Specs for Vinyl Graphics

What file format and setup your graphics need to print sharp at large size — a quick, practical guide.

Great graphics start with good files. Large-format vinyl reveals every shortcut in low-res artwork, so getting the file right up front saves time and gets you a crisp result.

Vector when you can

Logos and type are best as vector art (AI, EPS, PDF) so they print razor-sharp at any size. Vector scales without getting blurry — ideal for large walls and wraps.

Resolution for photos

Photographic images should be high-resolution at output size. A small web image blown up to a 40-ft wall will look soft — bigger source files are better for large format.

Color, bleed and fonts

Set up in the right color space, include bleed where needed, and outline or supply fonts. Not sure? Send what you have and we'll tell you what we need.
