Are Floor Graphics Safe to Walk On?
How convention and retail floor graphics hold up under heavy foot traffic — and stay slip-safe.
Floor graphics turn the ground into branded space, but the obvious question is: are they actually safe to walk on, and won't they get destroyed by a busy show floor? Done right, the answer is yes on both counts.
Slip-rated, laminated film
Proper floor graphics use a laminated, slip-resistant film designed for foot traffic — not the same vinyl you'd put on a wall. The laminate provides grip and protects the print from scuffing.
Built for heavy traffic
On convention floors we've installed 2,000+ sq ft of floor vinyl that survives thousands of attendees. Good surface prep and the right adhesive keep it down flat — no curling edges to trip on.
Clean removal after
When the show's over, floor graphics come up cleanly on the teardown timeline, leaving the venue floor as it was.

Frequently asked
Are floor graphics slippery?
No — proper floor graphics use a slip-rated, laminated film made for foot traffic. It's a different product from wall vinyl, with grip and scuff protection built in.
Will floor graphics survive a busy trade show?
Yes — with the right laminated film, surface prep and adhesive, floor graphics hold up to thousands of attendees, then remove cleanly at teardown.
